Frestems is participating in the upcoming International Defence Exhibition IDEX 2011 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, taking place on the 20-24 Feb.

The Frestems stand location is 05-A05 as a guest at the Bin Jabr Group Stand. Frestems will be showcasing its latest technologies:

· A two level stretcher place for high mine protected vehicles

· The new telescopic mine protected stretcher platform ProMIL-245

· Concepts of NIMR ambulance versions for different uses, like evacuation, treatment and high treatment.

Frestems has won competition to deliver conversions of Patria/Sisu XA-185 series armored personnel carriers to ambulance variants to an undisclosed customer. The conversion consist of full ambulance equipment integration. The conversation is based on Frestems products including ProMIL 245 and ProMIL 240 stretcher systems.

Frestems is clearly aware of the importance of the ‘golden hour’ in which a casualty’s survival may depend upon a quick and safe transfer to a field hospital. On Stand R055a, the Finnish company has launched an innovative field stretcher, which meets the demanding STANAG 2040 in every dimension.
