Frestems has signed a contract with General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada to deliver 49 stretcher stations for the Canadian Army’s Armoured Combat Support Vehicle (ACSV) Ambulance variants. Each stretcher station includes a lower (primary) and upper, (secondary) stretcher position which allows ACSV Ambulance medical crews to prioritize, treat and transport casualities.

The ACSV Ambulance stretcher stations use Frestems’ ProMIL 245 wall mounted stretcher loading system, ProMIL 713 patient lifter and ProMIL 270 stretcher racks. Frestems’ ProMIL 245 is a leading ergonomic wall mounted loading system selected by more than ten armies for use in their armoured vehicles.

We have actively developed our products and are very pleased that General Dynamics Land Systems has once again chosen our solutions for General Dynamics’s Light Armoured Vehicle (LAV) ambulance,” says Ari-Matti Vuorenoja, the Managing Director of Frestems.

For more than two decades, Frestems has been a leading global supplier of military ambulance stretcher fastening systems.
