Frestems had an extremely good exhibition in Paris late June. In addition to the great number of visitors on our own stand, two of our longtime customers; BAE Systems Hägglunds from Sweden and General Dynamics European Land Systems Mowag from Switzerland were showcasing their ambulance solutions including Frestems stretcher loading systems.
On the exhibition Frestems presented new and improved mark II version of ProMIL 360 Hydraulic Treatment Base and mark III of ProMIL 245 Wall Fastened Stretcher System.
The new ProMIL 360 hydraulic treatment base with suspension raised a lot of interest among visiting medics and ambulance manufacturers who shared the concern of patient survivability in rough terrain conditions and looked for solutions. Also the notion that the system has been qualified to be used in high speed assault boats convinced the visitors.
Visitors were very curious to preview and test the new generation ProMIL 245 stretcher system functions hands-on on our stand and on the real ambulance vehicles. When tested on an actual vehicle, one could really see how fast and easy it can be to load a patient even to a vehicle with high ground clearance. The feedback received from many visitors was really positive.
We were very proud to present the new features of ProMIL 245 stretcher system, including:
- Improved loading ergonomics thru longer extension range
- More lightweight structure with higher strength
- Improved safety features
- Simplified user interface
- Streamlined, easy to clean surfaces
BAE Systems had two ProMIL 245 stretcher loading systems installed in their highly functional BvS10 Mk IIB treatment level ambulance. They had also a very enthusiastic end-customer from Swedish Armed Forces presenting the user-perspective for the visitors. GDELS Mowag was displaying the Eagle 6×6 vehicle with ProMIL 245 Mark III on their stand. This vehicle is a perfect example on how the ProMIL 245 suits for loading casualties on high vehicles and can adapt to any vehicle configuration.
Everyone in our team wants to thank all our customers and visitors met at Eurosatory. We all agree with our Managing Director, Mr. Ari-Matti Vuorenoja, who commented the fair:
This year the Eurosatory exhibition was the most successful and more interesting than it has ever been! I felt very proud to be able to present the new products we had been working on with our R&D team. It was great to walk around the fair and see that two of the largest vehicle manufacturers in Europe were now displaying also the medical point of view alongside the perhaps more traditional fighting systems. I can´t wait for the next Eurosatory!
